Asia Beach Resort & Spa Hotel

The pier is the main reason I’m giving three stars. It opened late, so only half was usable, which frustrated a lot of guests. I also noticed a severely weak, unstable spot that seemed capable of collapsing and causing serious injuries. I reported it to the Guest Relations Manager, who took a video. The pier felt rushed and flawed, as though it opened before proper checks were done. Some gaps between the wooden planks were big enough to hurt someone or drop small things like phones. Our hotel beach had many rocks that could easily be cleared, while the neighboring hotel’s beach was almost free of sharp stones. The volleyball court sand also had sharp stones and wood splinters. I ended up with several cuts and splinters in my feet, and both areas need urgent, thorough cleanup. The animation team were hardworking and incredibly friendly, but there weren’t enough of them when the hotel was full. They need to expand the team. The evening shows with outside performers were only average, and live music was the one night I truly enjoyed. I’d have liked to give five stars because my friends and I had an amazing time, but these problems held me back. The location and atmosphere were lovely. The hotel and rooms have a modern look, are well maintained, and were very clean. It’s compact like other hotels nearby, but they’ve made good use of the space. I had no noise issues. I spent most of my time at the sea, so I can’t comment on the pools. I don’t have much experience to compare food with, but the selection and taste seemed perfectly adequate. The best part of the stay was the staff: everyone from reception, guest relations and the kitchen to the bar, housekeeping, beach, animation, lifeguards, and hotel nurse was polite, attentive, hospitable, friendly, and good at solving problems. My sincere thanks to every one of them.

The pool and private beach were lovely, and the little playground was great for toddlers. Our room was clean, and everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming. The activities were a lot of fun too. Special thanks to the guy with the hair from the activities team, sorry I can’t remember your name, and to Nedim the waiter, who was always cheerful and made people smile. Everything was as I expected, and it’s a great place for families, couples, and friends.

The staff were all really nice, especially the barmen, and I liked the cocktails. Food was around four-star quality, good but nothing special. The cheese was very good, but the seafood less so. The hotel’s in a good spot with lots of shops nearby, including a grocery store and a hookah lounge right outside. We stayed eight nights. The last two days we had no cleaner, and when we went downstairs to ask for water, we didn’t get any. Cleaners only come at a certain time, and only when the cleaning light is on.

Erkut at the lobby bar deserves a special mention. He was attentive, helped me choose drinks, and his cocktail suggestions were always surprising and tasted fantastic. I wish we had more people as friendly as him back home. I spent a week at Asia Beach Resort & Spa Hotel in Alanya, Turkey, and was thrilled with the service, the staff’s friendliness, and their care. The buffets were lavish and the drinks selection left nothing to be desired. I’ll be back next year.
