Bella Rose Apart-Hotel

The food was delicious and great value, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The rooms were beautiful and everything was very clean. From the moment we arrived at reception, the staff were helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. I’d highly recommend a visit, and we’ll definitely be back.

Bella Rose Apart Hotel is in a handy spot, very close to a supermarket. The rooms were only acceptable, though, and didn’t feel comfortable or well maintained. The doors were a particular concern: they didn’t seem secure, and the way they shut felt odd and uncomfortable. Service was weak too. We had to ask for clean towels ourselves, and after two days we had to request more because we’d run out. The location is a real plus, but the rooms and service need a lot of improvement.

For at least two years, this hotel has been a building site. They’re adding an attic storey, and guests have to live with the noise and dirt. Progress is painfully slow. When you go past, you see only two or three people working, which gives the impression that each guest paying a bill is funding the next brick. The outside looks rather neglected. Time will tell if adding beds makes sense in the current tense situation. And the response to my recession is unfortunately untrue. This isn’t off-season maintenance or renovation. They’re building a new attic, and the site has been there at least two years, with work going on all year. It’s still unfinished because the work is so slow. Instead of giving guests a more comfortable, higher-quality experience, they’re offering a permanent construction site. Please comment honestly!

I spent 6 days here. If you want a modest, quiet, inexpensive economy hotel, this could suit you. The room and bathroom were clean and had the essentials. I’m not much of a pool person, but the pool water was clean too. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly, and handled requests promptly and attentively. The sea is close, about a 10-minute walk at an easy pace.
