Bora Bora Butik Hotel

We were five women and have never felt so welcome and comfortable at a hotel. Right from the start, everyone was kind, friendly and helpful, whether at reception, serving food or working at the bar. They were warm, attentive and chatty every day, and we really felt at home. The chef's meals were fresh, full of flavor and delicious day after day. It was a long way from what people tend to think of as typical hotel food. Everything tasted homemade and lovingly prepared, better than what many good restaurants serve. Our room was spacious, very clean and roomy. The hotel has recently been renovated, and the care that went into it shows. Things felt modern, clean and cozy. We'd come back anytime and wholeheartedly recommend it.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful hotel. The staff were accommodating and very friendly, especially Mr. Simsek, who looked after us when we arrived and when we left.

The staff's behavior was the worst part. The man at reception was aggressive and completely unprofessional. He raised his hand at a 16-year-old girl and called her “idiot” and “stupid.” It was shocking, unacceptable and frightening. The rest of the staff were rude, unhelpful and seemed irritated whenever anyone asked for something. There was no feeling of hospitality. The rooms were filthy and uncomfortable. The floor was dirty when we arrived, the bathroom smelled awful, and the sheets had visible stains. Towels weren't replaced, and it seemed the room hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time. The food was cold, tasteless and looked as though it had sat out for hours. We couldn't eat without feeling nauseous, so we had to eat out every day, which defeated the point of included meals. The hotel looked nothing like its photos. The pool was tiny, the furniture old and worn, and many advertised facilities didn't work. Booking Bora Bora Butik Hotel in Alanya was a complete disaster and ruined part of our trip. I'd never recommend it. Stay somewhere else.

We enjoyed the homely, picturesque setting, and the location was convenient, with markets, food shops and supermarkets all around. The hotel also has a private beach about five minutes away on foot, with free loungers and umbrellas. The buffet had plenty of variety at each meal, and our room had a balcony, hob, kettle and shower. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the room was cleaned at least two or three times during our four-day stay, with the sheets changed. We'd seen the negative reviews and felt unsure, but when we arrived at 12:30 AM, a lovely man greeted us and took us to room 302. During our stay we had a car accident. The staff gave us plasters, bandages and antiseptic, pointed us to the nearest pharmacies and offered further help. They also went out of their way to help other injured guests. The main downside is the distance from the airport. In traffic, it took roughly three hours to reach the hotel.
