Elite Orkide Apartments

The receptionists didn't seem to care about us, though the rest of the staff were nice and helpful. It took five reminders before reception did anything about the broken hallway light. The pool had rubble in it, and the beds were lumpy. I also hurt my leg on furniture that hadn't been assembled properly. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with no dish soap, brush, or even a cloth. Touching the stove while switching it on gave a small electric shock. WiFi was free, but only in the lobby or by the pool, not in the rooms. At least they made a killer piña colada.

The food was disgusting, and we got food poisoning several times. All the rooms were smoking rooms, the furniture was old and broken, and the TVs looked like they were from the 80s. Reception wouldn't move us to another room. The constant noise made it impossible to sleep at night. Never going back to that nightmare!

WARNING! By the pool, I could feel an electrical current in my fingertips when I touched one spot. It was right beside the water, and I was scared it could get worse and become dangerous. I told the staff, but they brushed it off and refused to investigate properly. I do NOT recommend this hotel!

Worst place ever, zero stars to be fair. We were all inclusive, but the food was awful, with only two cheap choices. There was just one kind of beer and it was rubbish, plus some watery vodka that you'd probably throw straight back up. Nobody spoke any English. I asked what kind of meat was in a dish, and they just went “glglglglg,” like a turkey song. Would never recommend it.
