The host greeted us and explained how everything worked. He was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. Topkapi apartments is a four-storey building with four apartments, one per floor, including one below ground level. There's a washing machine in the basement for everyone to share, and a terrace with clothes airers where you can relax or dry laundry. The property is very close to the Hippodrome and Blue Mosque, and within walking distance of Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar and Spice Markets. We stayed in the ground-floor triple-room apartment. It was compact but had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The water pressure and temperature were excellent, so showering was comfortable. The apartment, linen and towels were all very clean. A cleaner came nearly every day to empty the bins and tidy the room, much like in a hotel.

We've stayed in these apartments for the second year, and I want to thank Yusuf. The area is great, the room has everything you need, the service is super and the terrace is lovely. Yusuf is a very nice, kind and responsible man. I recommend this place!

The rooftop has an amazing view, and the place has a lovely atmosphere. The location is excellent, the street is quiet, and the neighbourhood feels good. The apartment is cute, comfortable and very clean, with a kitchen, microwave, hob and kettle, plus tea and coffee. We felt at home. There's a washing machine downstairs with no extra charge, and you can dry clothes on the rooftop. We arrived a bit late, and a neighbour helped us call the owner Yusof so we could check in. Yusuf responded quickly and was super nice. Everything was sorted within ten minutes.

Yusuf was polite, accommodating, and happy to answer questions or help with requests. He even arranged rides to and from the airport. We stayed in apartment 2 for 15 days, and it had everything we needed for a longer visit, including heating and air conditioning. There’s laundry space in the basement, regular housekeeping, and a rooftop terrace with tables, seats, and a lovely view. The apartment was comfortable and cozy, in a great area near restaurants, shops, the sea, and tourist spots.

We found Topkapi apartments clean and well placed for getting around Sultanahmet’s main sights. Our host helped with our heavy bags and clearly went over what we needed to know during our short stay in Istanbul. We also stopped by the host’s shop, Noah’s Ark, where there are beautiful carpets and souvenirs. The whole visit was pleasant from beginning to end, and my family and I would book here again on our next trip to Istanbul. I’d recommend Topkapi apartments to other visitors.
