Granada Luxury Resort Okurcalar - All Inclusive

The resort was very clean, our room was spacious and spotless, and there was a broad choice of good food and desserts. We were on the eighth floor with a balcony and a sea view, though the wall was so high we couldn’t actually see the sea or pool. Night shows changed every evening and were fun to watch. There were daytime activities too, including water pollo, beach volleyball, and darts. The staff went out of their way to help and were friendly, making this a holiday to remember. Thanks to Mehmet, Atta, and Muslim at the snack bar, Pasha and Bayram at the coffee bar, and Muslim at the shark night club. The location is great, two minutes’ walk from Carrefour and other supermarkets, and five minutes by car from Alara Grand Bazaar. A few things could be better. The pool water was very cold and could be heated. The DJ played the same songs at the pool, Disco, and Shark Night Club every day, so newer songs would be nice. We also went quad biking on an excursion, which was great fun and something I’d highly recommend. The service throughout was great, and I couldn’t have asked for more.

The view was lovely, the beach clean, the service very good, and the activities mostly didn’t disappoint. My room was spacious and clean, with lots of mirrors and comfortable beds. This is a big hotel with too many people for the small grounds. Get to the beach early for the best spots, or to the restaurant early for a table. At noon the pool music is loud enough that you can’t rest in your room, and the hotel isn’t quiet in the evening either. If you’d rather sleep than go out at night, bear that in mind. It’s up to you whether you want to spend time here :)

The only downside was the pool music, which made it hard to relax. It was either techno or Russian music, even though guests came from nationalities besides Russian. With Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, that choice felt really out of place. Why are Russian guests favored? Otherwise, we were very pleased with the stay. The hotel feels luxurious throughout, the restaurant and bar waiters are top-level, and the food was very good. The alcohol was the best, the drinks were great, and the cleaning staff worked hard to keep everything clean and pleasant. There’s plenty of entertainment, with something for everyone. I also want to mention the jewelry store booth in the hotel, whose main store is in the bazaar. The gold ring I bought there discolored after a week of wear, rubbing gold onto the silver. I don’t recommend it.

Everything was great, except for how many people smoke all around the place. If you don't smoke, you might want to stay somewhere else.
