Hedef Beach Resort

The beach bar and pool were both great, and the staff quickly helped when our room safe got stuck. We arrived yesterday and there are drinks available around the clock. I’m really pleased with the hotel: three different kitchens offer a good range of food and drinks. I’d heard it had been renovated, and maybe the bad ratings reflect how things used to be, but right now it’s splendid. Thanks to everyone.

The rooms were great and regularly cleaned, and the service was fine. There’s plenty to do, with large pools, slides, bars and lots of places to eat, so for the price it’s quite decent. It does get crowded, though that’s understandable. Hygiene was extremely poor: they use glass cups instead of paper ones, which can spread infections easily, and we actually got infected afterward. The beaches are okay, but the sea has lots of waves and rocks and isn’t very clean.

The lobby was really uncomfortable in the summer heat. It only had small electric AC units instead of proper air conditioning, and they couldn’t cool the space. Internet was another problem: there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, and the lobby connection was so weak and unstable that even basic use was difficult. The rooms weren’t cleaned properly or regularly, and the towels were old and not fresh. My stay at Hedef Alanya Hotel was very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it if cleanliness, comfort and internet access matter to you. There are better options in Alanya at the same price or less.

The food and pool were the only good parts. The room we were meant to get was a family room, but one person had to sleep on a folding armchair. When we arrived in the evening, the room was very dirty. We asked to move and had to pay another 70€, only to get a cleaner room. The rooms and the hotel in general were filthy. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a family here. A horrible experience, the worst hotel stay of my life. This is a one-star hotel, not five.
