Hotel Xoria Deluxe

Hakam from guest relations was always cheerful and friendly, and easy to chat with. He was especially helpful. We found the food good, and there was something to eat at most times of day and night. Fresh waffles and ice cream were served by the main pool after lunch. The hotel has a lovely private beach and lots to do, with the entertainment team always planning activities guests could join. All the staff were warm and upbeat, even after long hours. This was our first trip to Turkey, and it was a very pleasant one.

Everyone was great and spoke English, and we enjoyed the big, clean pool, the many activities for different ages, and the good food. The rooms were clean and nice too. The beach, though, wasn’t properly maintained. A major annoyance was the elevator on our floor. Its button didn’t work, so we had to go one floor up or down and use the stairs. The internet was very poor by the pool and didn’t work in our room, though it was great in the lobby. At checkout, when we left the room at 12h, reception took our bracelets, meaning we could no longer get food or drinks. That’s strange for a five-star hotel in Turkey. We were told we’d have to pay extra if we wanted dinner. The hotel is good overall, but I’d return only if some of these problems were fixed.

We’ve been back to Xoria Deluxe Hotel twice this year, in July and October, with our family of four. The kids are 3 and 13, and both visits were wonderful. The rooms were spacious and spotless, meals delicious with lots of choice, and the staff always welcoming. The animation team kept everyone entertained, and the pool, beach, and other facilities were consistently well cared for. We love returning here.

We rented four rooms for our group, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. One room smelled of sewage. We reported it several times, but they couldn’t sort it out. The elevator was unreliable and we got stuck in it twice. We also asked repeatedly for a blanket, and eventually did get one. The food was raw and tasteless, and several times we couldn’t find an empty seat. The drink selection didn’t meet a five-star standard, and the indoor pools weren’t warm enough for swimming. I’d rate the hotel no higher than three stars.
