Karikatur Bi Hotel

The staff made the stay easy, always welcoming and ready to help with a smile. My room was comfortable and spotless. The location was perfect for getting around and reaching what I needed. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel for a pleasant, hassle-free visit.

What made the stay unforgettable was looking up from bed and seeing the full moon rise right in front of me. The room was spacious and spotless, and the staff were consistently kind and helpful. The hotel is right in the centre, within easy walking distance of the port, castle, parks, and local shops. It also offers great value for the price. I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it.

The first-floor room was excellent, clean and spacious, with a hot shower, kettle, bottled water, and cups. It was a great value stay, and breakfast was pleasant. The quiet side-street location was also handy, near restaurants and buses and within walking distance of the waterfront. There were a few drawbacks: breakfast service from the young man wearing earphones was lacklustre, smoke and hookah fumes drifted up from the downstairs cafe through the open stairs, and the cafe played loud music some nights until midnight. Even so, I had a great stay.

The cafe downstairs was recommended by our travel agency, so we stopped in, though we didn’t stay at the hotel. It was a disappointing visit. The young person working there seemed uninterested in greeting us or finding us a table. I ordered coffee, but they only had tea, despite the cafe apparently being known for excellent coffee. Not speaking English is fine, but making no effort to communicate isn’t. The sandwich was a mess. It was meant to have three layers of cheese, and the menu photo showed sliced meat inside, but mine had no meat and barely half a layer of cheese. The edges of the bread were burned. The orange juice wasn’t fresh-squeezed, though it tasted alright. Service was poor, and 170 lira for that sandwich was outrageous. There were hardly any customers, but I still had to call the server over to pay.
