Kleopatra Micador Hotel

The hardest part of the stay was how the owner treated me over restaurant tables. At dinner, a waiter told me to move because the owner always sits at that table, though there was no reservation sign. The owner made rude remarks like “Turks are always like this.” As a Turkish person, I found that humiliating and disrespectful. When I later reserved the same table, he came over and tried to sit with us uninvited, interrupting even while I was with my girlfriend. The manager then called me to his office and subtly threatened to throw me out if I kept sitting at his boss table. He also called my local guide, my Rehber, to warn me they'd kick me out if I didn't stop. At breakfast the next day, we were told to move from another unmarked table because the owner wanted it. It felt like I was an unwanted guest in his private living room, not a paying hotel guest. The rooms are small, the food repetitive, the facilities basic, and the atmosphere was ruined by the owner treating guests as a nuisance in his private restaurant. The best part was the hardworking, polite cleaning staff and waiters. They deserve the credit. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone hoping for a peaceful holiday. My room had a disappointing view of nearby living spaces just 20 meters away, with no privacy. The showerhead was broken when I arrived. I reported it on the first day, but it was never repaired. On my third night there was no hot water, only lukewarm or cold, so I had an uncomfortable cold shower late at night. The food was edible but nothing special, with little variety. Lunch and dinner always included the same tomato sauce pasta. I often thought leftovers were reused the next day. The turkey and liver dishes seemed to be mixed together the following day, at least that was my impression. Cakes and cookies at the 4 PM cake and coffee hour were poor quality and sometimes cleared away early. To be fair, staff usually tried to help if asked nicely. The all inclusive drinks were very limited, just local vodka and warm white or red wine. I asked several times for the white wine to be chilled, but it was still served warm. Wi-Fi wasn't included and cost €3 per day. The cleaners and most waiters were the real backbone of the hotel, friendly and respectful despite long hours. Housekeeping was done daily and was always very clean. At night you had to go down to the lobby to refill your bottle at a dispenser, or fill plastic cups one at a time. I stayed at Kleopatra Micador Hotel in Alanya. The room was small, with a broken showerhead from the start and no hot water on my third night. The food and drinks were basic and repetitive. I hope this account helps other travellers choose.

Drinks were poorly selected, and at reception they only spoke English during the day. The bed was so hard that I found it more comfortable to lie on the beach. The food was inedible to me, the same all the time and so bad that I could only manage fries with ketchup. This was the most disastrous hotel I've stayed in. It doesn't deserve even 2 stars.

Susane helped us with everything we asked for, including arranging the boat trip. The hotel was clean, the food was good, and the beach was about 10 minutes away. I would have liked a little more space in the room, but we had a great time and hope to return. Thanks for the hospitality, I was very happy with the service.

I chose this hotel for the first time and I'm so glad I did. It's not right on the beach, but the location is great, with markets nearby, the beach a few minutes' walk away, and the center close too. The food was delicious, with a lovely selection at each meal and fresh portions brought out regularly. I think everyone can find a decent meal. The room cleaners were kind, and the cleanliness deserves real praise. The restaurant and bar staff were friendly and fun, always ready with a joke or a kind word. My rating is 100000/10 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
