Kleopatra Miray Hotel

The rooms are clean and have new furniture, and the air conditioning works. You can get a refrigerator for an additional fee. Breakfast repeats, and dinner's side dishes stay the same, though the main course changes depending on breakfast.

The buffet suited me well, with lots of variety and tasty food. I've traveled through half of Europe and still haven't found coffee like this. The rooms have what you need for sleeping and resting, and they're clean; bed linen and towels are changed regularly. I was hesitant after reading reviews before arrival, but now that I'm here I can't confirm the bad ones I saw. I'm not sure what those reviewers expected. There are more expensive hotels if they weren't satisfied, but for the price, this place is fair. You're here for a holiday and sightseeing, after all.

The view from up there was nice, and the staff were friendly. I loved the hotel. It has clean rooms, breakfast and dinner, and a location close to Kleopatra beach and lots of places to visit.

We arrived with my husband and our 9 month old, and nobody helped with our luggage. The woman at the desk didn't understand English, which made things difficult. There was no kettle for the baby's milk, and when we asked for hot water, she first said there wasn't any. After I explained I needed it to feed the baby and couldn't get hot water anywhere, she went to fetch some. We'd requested a baby cot through one of the options offered when booking, but there wasn't one in the room. There was no high chair either, so I fed the baby on the bed and made a mess. I asked reception for clean sheets and explained the baby had made a mess. They said bedding only gets changed on certain days. When I explained again that there was no high chair, they said, “if we do it for you we have to do it for every guest” and “there's other guests with babies and only your baby makes a mess.” After ten minutes of arguing, they finally gave me clean sheets. During our seven day stay, staff were extremely unwelcoming. When I asked the bar for hot water for milk again, the man made a face and said “no water.” I ended up buying a kettle from a store so I could feed the baby. That man was rude the whole time, with no customer service whenever we wanted to buy a drink. He seemed to hate doing anything in his job description. On the day housekeeping was meant to change the bedding, only the sheets were replaced. The pillowcases and throws were still dirty, so I had to argue with reception again to get clean bedding. The old, outdated room also had a shower door that wouldn't close, leaving water all over the bathroom. In the middle of the night, the AC cover fell off by itself onto the floor while we slept. Avoid this place, especially with kids.
