Lonicera City Hotel

The restaurant food wasn't a huge selection, but it was very tasty. The service always came with a smile and a genuine wish to help, and the cleanliness was at a very high standard. We were charmed by the whole stay at the hotel in mid-September, from 18.09-26.09. After returning to Bulgaria, I started looking at Alanya holiday offers for 2026, and today I've already booked this same hotel for mid-September next year. Thank you for making our holiday so pleasant. We'll be back. P.S. Don't read the reviews from any British rubbish, they're no good anywhere in Europe.

The rooms were very neat and cleaned daily, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is small, with not many sunbeds, but we managed to find space each day. The beach is a five-minute walk away. Sunbeds cost 8 euros per day, though the beaches are good and you can just spread out your own towels. Cocktails weren't anything special. Food is what matters most to us on holiday, and it was a real tragedy here. There wasn't much choice, meals were usually cold and tasteless, and there seemed to be a big risk of food poisoning. Desserts tasted like wet paper. We ended up eating at nearby restaurants instead of using the all-inclusive meals. After so many good reviews, we chose this over a 5-star hotel and Lonicera City Hotel, and came away disappointed. I hope they sort out the food because it reflects badly on the whole chain. We definitely won't choose Lonicera again. Two stars.

We were very happy with our stay. The food was nice, and the quality for the price was very good. Special thanks to manager Murat and receptionist Mahmut, who searched for a room and found a solution for us. The hotel management is flexible and responsive to customers.

The food could use more options, especially local dishes and fish. With mostly Russian guests, though, the current selection is clearly enough. I left relaxed and satisfied. The hotel pleasantly surprised me with its cleanliness, good communication from staff, and their attitude. It's around three minutes from the beaches on Cleoparara Beach, with two pools and interesting restaurants, bars, and shops close by. I'd say it could easily merit four stars, though it's currently rated three.
