Good.

It’s a small complex with few residents, mostly locals. The garden and grounds are landscaped, and there are basketball and soccer courts, a little kids’ area, barbecue area, and a pool with slides. I see the grounds being cleaned and the garden cared for every morning. There’s a 101 store right beside it. The road up to the building is uphill, and the closest beach is very rocky, one of the few open in summer because hotels occupy the others. Reaching the city beach means walking across practically the whole city, then climbing uphill on the way back, which is hard with children. There’s no shuttle. At the entrance to the mountain beach, though, Orion Beach Bar has free sun loungers if you get bracelets from complex security or have a map.

Avsallar’s center is close by, with lots of shops and restaurants within a five-minute walk. The complex feels like a garden, and swimming at the beach is about a ten-minute walk. The official hotel beach is farther, within half an hour, and there’s a minibus.

Orion has six apartments in this peaceful Avsallar complex. They share the same architecture, and there’s a beach area rented from construction companies. The 1+1 apartments are practical, even if the style feels old-fashioned. Sound insulation is the one real issue: people upstairs and next door can feel like they’re right in your apartment. Still, the price-performance is incredibly good. 👌☺️
