Ozgur Bey Spa Hotel

The hotel is in a great spot, and we came specifically to run and walk by the beach after people in the sports community recommended it. We did get the daily beach exercise we wanted, and the place itself was amazing. Our main problem was laundry. There's no wash-and-dry service, and although we washed our clothes ourselves, they never dried properly because the balcony had no decent drying equipment. Whenever we got back, our clothes were on the floor, and they started to smell. We knew about this from friends, so we were sort of prepared to be a bit stinky, lol, but wearing damp clothes was uncomfortable and the odor spread. We felt bad for the staff and anyone sharing the elevator with us ☠️. We tried to avoid that, but sometimes failed. Keep the laundry situation in mind and look for a quick service nearby.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room looked nice and modern. But I had to ask for clean sheets because the ones there were dirty. There weren't enough towels for two people or enough toilet paper. The TV was small, which wasn't a big deal, but had no remote, and the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted.

My husband and I had such a lovely time at ozugur bey 😍. The rooms were super clean, and everyone at the hotel was friendly. It was our first Turkish bath together, and it was super cool and relaxing 👌. We hope to come back soon.

The beach at the hotel was clean and well kept, with friendly, professional staff ready to help. I felt safe and cared for there. It's only about a four-minute walk to the sea and promenade, a lovely route for a morning or evening stroll. My room was bright, spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room by the bathroom mirror for my cosmetics, and housekeeping left a bottle of water each day, handy since I often forgot to buy one. I'd booked a sea view and got that, plus a beautiful night view of the illuminated Kale hill from the side window. Breakfast was delicious. The kind women asked each morning how I wanted my eggs, and I always chose scrambled eggs with excellent Turkish tea. You could eat inside or outdoors in the fresh air. I also visited the spa, where the woman giving the treatment was kind and clearly experienced. I left feeling refreshed and cared for. The reception staff were lovely and helpful throughout. I'm learning a little Turkish, and appreciated that they sometimes chatted with me in the language. I felt safe and welcome at the hotel and beach, almost like a loving family was hosting me.
