Saphir Hotel & Villas

The food was tasty and varied, with themed dinners in the evenings. Imported drinks included beer, gin, vodka, and whisky (Red Label), and the evening shows were interesting. The hotel grounds were beautiful and clean, and the service was friendly and good. Our standard room was a bit small for three people, and the sea gets deep quite quickly at the beach. I’d definitely book a sea view room. Nothing negative to say, we were very satisfied with our holiday.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on my stay. There were a lot of cats around the property, and the cat urine smell in some dining areas made eating unpleasant. Some guests were disruptive too, including groups speaking Russian. One person acted erratically, approached other people inappropriately, and played loud music on a big speaker, making it hard to relax. Staff didn’t step in, apparently because he was a regular, which gave me the impression that guest comfort and basic rules weren’t being enforced. The hotel has potential, but these problems seriously affected our stay. Update: After I posted my first review, things clearly improved. It seems the staff took the feedback seriously. They dealt with the disruptive guests and got things back in order. I appreciate the response and the steps they took.

The activities were the best part of our stay. The workers were great and very friendly, the beach was beautiful and not far away, and the food was very good with lots of options. Everything was very good.

At Saphir Hotel & Villas, I couldn’t relax because one guest kept blasting loud music from a huge speaker. Staff said he’d stayed before, but still did nothing, and complaints were ignored. It felt like the comfort of other guests didn’t matter as long as certain people were regulars. For a place meant to offer rest and comfort, that indifference was unacceptable. If you care about peace and basic respect in shared spaces, I wouldn’t recommend it.
