The breakfast was good, and the staff serving it worked hard. Thank you to them. The room was clean, but the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, and there was no lotion or hair conditioner. We chose the hotel for its amenities, but they weren’t working, and no one apologized or explained. Construction was going on just across from our room, so we went out instead of resting. When we came downstairs to ask the front desk about a few things, since the phone didn’t work, they asked who we were after only five minutes, as if we’d never checked in. It was strange to be treated like complete strangers. At check-in, no one greeted us, helped with our bags, offered assistance, or even asked what we were there for. We had to introduce ourselves and explain why we’d come. The front desk staff seemed moody and annoyed, and there was no warm welcome, friendliness, or basic courtesy. Even after we checked out, they didn’t say hello or goodbye or offer help. They need a lot of training, and I guess management is poor. We picked this hotel because it’s in town near the center, and it isn’t one of the old musty houses converted into a mansion that’s common around there. There was no parking lot, but we were told to use a spot for hotel guests about a hundred yards away, which was okay. The location is isolated and takes hours to reach from the nearest airport, so that front desk experience was the last thing we wanted on arrival. Even the cheapest hotels in the US explain breakfast times and amenities, offer help, and show guests around. None of that happened at this hotel in a tourist location. As for the town, I thought it was terrible. There was hardly any history left, everything seemed destroyed or demolished, and we saw new houses for sale built on historical structures and castles. We were shocked to see new properties constructed right on top of an ancient castle. I’ve never seen that anywhere. There was no history, explanation, or information available, no local food, and the fish restaurants were gross and disgusting, with terrible service. The town is only worth seeing for its natural beauty for about 20 or 30 minutes. There’s no need to stay, and I’d never come back.

The food was disappointing, with dishes that lacked flavor and fresh ingredients. The room and bathroom were far below the cleanliness standards I expected from a hotel of this caliber. My stay fell well short of expectations, and I sincerely regret choosing this hotel.

The service was good, but the hotel didn’t meet the standard I expected. The rooms were small, and parking was difficult since there’s no parking at the hotel. Breakfast was very disappointing and seemed geared toward Turkish guests rather than international ones.

It was my first time here, and I had a fantastic stay. The location and service were great, and receptionist Rumeysa was especially helpful.
