Sardinia Hotel

We were a family of four and stayed three nights. The rooms were a bit smaller than we're used to, but the large balcony and great view helped. Everything was spotless, and the hotel has some tasteful art. The owner was very kind, replied promptly to texts before we arrived, and helped whenever we needed anything during the stay. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit and juices, different breads, and other choices. Shops, bars, and restaurants are just outside, and everything is within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it.

Everything was easy to reach on foot from this central spot. The staff were lovely and helpful, breakfast was amazing, and we had a nice view from our room. I'd happily stay again.

The tiny room was too expensive for what you get, and the bar across the street plays live music almost every night until 3 am, so it gets loud. Still, the location and view were beautiful and convenient, and the service was great. There's only one man on site, so it was a one-man show, but it worked. I'd give the overall stay 4 out of 5.

We came as a family for two nights in early May. Amasra is small, and the places to visit are all around the hotel, so there's no need for a car. The location is handy, but it also means a lot of noise at night. Two bars next door have live music until 1-2 a.m., and it feels like a concert is happening in your room, making sleep impossible. When those places close, people move to the cafe-bar underneath the hotel, so it stays noisy until 4-5 a.m. The hotel itself is clean and nice inside, the service isn't bad, and management is helpful. That's why I took off some stars.
