On April 5th, a pipe burst in the middle of the night and flooded my room, soaking my belongings and making it impossible to stay there. Staff eventually moved me to another room, but they delayed and acted as though it was a burden. The change felt rushed and unprofessional, with no explanation or reassurance, and I got no apology or real concern about what had happened. Even though the maintenance fault was obvious, the hotel refused a refund or any compensation for the ruined stay. The lack of accountability and basic customer care was shocking. I'd strongly advise people to look elsewhere and save themselves the stress and money. This place doesn't prioritize guest comfort or responsibility.

I booked a different hotel but somehow ended up here. It's in the old city near the local shops and river, but the furniture is very old and the bathroom wasn't clean enough. There were dead bugs and ants in the shower. Breakfast was below average, and I don't recommend the place; I think there are better hotels. The receptionist came to our room and opened the door without knocking, even though we hadn't asked for anything. I don't know why she came in.

The breakfast was so rich it was hard to choose what to eat, and the small staff team were quick and attentive. The owner and family were around most of the time, and everyone was polite and kind, especially the owner. We chose Simre Hotel for our visit to Amasya Province. It's on the second line of the (Yeşil Irmak - Green Creek) bank, with views either toward the city or the mountain and train rail. The clean, quiet rooms are a lovely place to take a break, enjoy the mountain view, breathe the fresh air, and listen to the river. On behalf of my family, many thanks to you and your staff. We'll stay here again and recommend it without limit.
