The rooms and furnishings look just like the pictures, and they're modern, tasteful, and very nice. The staff, though, were a serious problem. They seemed to think a smile could smooth over anything, then stopped smiling if it didn't. We'd booked a sea-view room, but when we went to see the balcony, we were shocked by their dismissive answer: "We said the sea is on this side, you would see it if you were two floors up." They claimed to have Wi-Fi, but the password they gave us seemed made up. Breakfast was paid for as agreed, yet we had no idea what they'd bring and even had to ask for eggs. I don't think they have any standards, and we couldn't get satisfactory answers to our questions. We deeply regret choosing this hotel and won't go near it again.

We stayed from August 5-9, 2019, and found the place quiet and peaceful, a good spot to relax. The sea is about a five-minute walk away. Mr. Fahrettin and Ms. Nurcan were both extremely polite, friendly, and ready to solve any problems. Perfect is the only word I can think of for the place. Unless we have other plans, we'll stay at Hanzadehome on our next vacation.

We rented two apartments for our two families and had a wonderful holiday. Hanzade Home looks like the photos, and the house is tastefully furnished, clean, and well kept. It has a washing machine, iron, two air conditioners, two TVs, kitchenware, and everything else you need. There's a barbecue in the garden, and the friendly staff were attentive. The sea is a four-minute walk away, and a lovely aquapark with great slides is about 10 minutes away. You can visit the ancient city of Anamurium, where the water is crystal clear, or wander around the pier square in the evenings for live music, tea gardens, and amusement park rides. A great spot for a family vacation. I recommend it.

We stayed one night and were told by the hotel manager at the entrance that breakfast was very generous and highly recommended. There was a list of breakfast items at reception priced at 25 TL, and he specifically asked when we'd like it served. He said it would be hot. But when we went to the terrace in the morning, half the items were missing, including cigarette rolls, different jams, molasses, tahini, and watermelon, and the portions were tiny. At that price, it was the worst breakfast we've had. We told the employee who was there as we left, but he didn't answer and seemed condescending. He only took 5 TL off each breakfast. We felt we'd been treated like fools.

Hanzade Home is a lovely family place, with no equal in Anamur for a holiday. The prices are reasonable and the quality is high. If someone leaves a bad review, it's certainly because they're not a family; this is a family place. They don't allow 7 or 8 people to stay in one room, and they shouldn't. Trust comes first.
