What stayed with me most was how close the hotel is to the ocean, and how clear and clean the water was. The seating areas are almost on the sand. I spent hours there reading, having coffee and beer, and working on future projects. This seems like a place for people who enjoy quiet, the sea, history, and books, and want time to themselves. I was there for a week and had a very good time, despite a few minor problems. The owners are cheerful and friendly, and run the place themselves without outside employees, so things can be slow sometimes. My room was simple and very clean. The lodge is quite old and needs some maintenance, and you shouldn't expect luxury, extra comfort, or fast service. They didn't have a dinner menu because of the pandemic, so I ordered from nearby places and ate at a fish restaurant close by.

The nature around Mayaluna was the best part: a clear, pure sea, a quiet beach without noisy people, and an ecological garden on the grounds. It seems especially suited to animal lovers, since caretta-caretta tortoises can be seen there and pets are accepted. I spotted three little tortoises on the beach. I stayed two days in a basic, clean room with air conditioning, and the staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was tasty, with a great view. See my photos.

We had the beach almost to ourselves in this quiet, uncrowded part of Anamur, and spent some wonderful days here. MayaLuna Ecolodge is right on the shore, near Anemurium, about a 15-minute walk along the beach. The natural garden, breakfast with a sea view, and sound of the waves all added to the peaceful feel. The food and service were excellent, and the vibe of the place and its people felt magical to us. We'd definitely come back. Thank you for the hospitality and great experience!

I came for a couple of days and had everything I needed. The peaceful setting was what I loved most: the place is right by the beach in a small town, with lovely views of the sea, mountains, and ancient Roman ruins. If you want to get away from the city and spend time in nature, I'd recommend it. I was there in May, and it stayed warm all day. The sea was perfect for a swim!

MayaLuna was a wonderful place to stay, and the beach was my favorite part. We had it all to ourselves. There are a few activities near Oren, but for simply relaxing, this is the place.
