The room was ready neatly when we arrived, with a welcome note, and the bathroom was clean and well organized with all the furnishings in place. We’re staying on the ground floor, and the pool by the entrance is pleasant if you love swimming, with enough to offer if you’re less demanding. I haven’t tried the sea, so can’t speak to that. The place is charming, beautiful, and clean, and the management really delivers. We were welcomed warmly. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying here.

The room itself passed my cleanliness test, which matters most to me, but I wouldn’t come back to this place in Datça. The pool was small, and there wasn’t room for us because other guests had taken up the space. I also found dirt at the bottom, so it didn’t seem clean. The customers were disrespectful, and the owner didn’t say anything. It’s also quite far from the sea.

We spent six nights here, August 11th to 17th, and ended up having a really happy, peaceful first holiday in Datça. Dadya Apart turned out to be a great choice. Our ground-floor 1+1 apartment was roomy enough and had what we needed. The central spot made it easy to walk to the sea and beachfront places, and get around without a car. Ms. Ayşe and the man at reception were friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. The garden was kept up well, and the pool was big and very clean. It’s a quiet, family-run place, and I’d recommend it. The one small downside was laundry: there’s a shared washing machine on each floor, but I don’t think that’s enough.

We love Datça and come every year, so this holiday was a real disappointment. The location and pool may appeal if you’re looking for an apartment, but this stay reminded us how much the manager matters. We’d booked months ahead, yet when we arrived they named a higher price than we’d agreed over the phone. They made their displeasure obvious from check-in, saying things like, “We don’t usually charge that much.” Since the price had only been discussed by phone, we had no way to prove it and were made to pay the difference. The apartment also had no dishwasher or washing machine, which I’d expect as standard. The woman we took to be his wife was polite, but the man didn’t greet or see us off, and was grumpy, even rude, on our last day. People in Datça aren’t usually like that. Such a lovely place, such a disappointing manager.
