Boreas Hotel Spa, Trademark Collection by Wyndham Hotel

Free valet parking is a lifesaver in this neighborhood, and the staff were professional and genuinely helpful throughout my stay at Boreas Hotel & SPA. Special thanks to Ahmed, who went out of his way to make things comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of fresh local options, so don't skip it. For a city-center hotel, it exceeded my expectations. I'd give it a perfect 10/10 for business or a romantic weekend, and I'll stay here again on my next trip to Ankara.

The pool looked dirty, and the room itself wasn’t properly cleaned. We didn’t use the pool. Even basic comforts were a problem: the outlets and TV were broken, there was a loud nonstop noise that gave us a headache almost right away, and we couldn’t relax. Towels weren’t in the room when we arrived, and we waited more than an hour for them. The service felt completely inadequate. We booked a room with a pool, but only after paying did they tell us about the electrical and TV problems. When we called to book, they said new customers would get a discount, but we still paid too much. We asked to change rooms, and an employee said, “This is what you’ll have to make do with,” then offered us a standard room for the same price, even though it costs much less on Booking.com. We asked to leave and get a full refund, but that wasn’t possible, and they refused a partial refund too. You also can’t set the air conditioning yourself. Every adjustment means calling reception, which was very inconvenient. Terrible stay, with unfriendly staff, misleading information, and poor hygiene. I absolutely don’t recommend this hotel.

The reception team made me feel very welcome, especially Başak. My room was spotless, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. I had a great overnight stay here, even though it was short. Thank you!

We got to check in a little early, which was great, and the sauna and steam room were included at no extra cost. The hotel felt modern and pleasant, the staff were helpful, and breakfast was very good. The sink barely had any water pressure, though. At one point the water was shut off for maintenance for over two hours, which was inconvenient. They did give us some complimentary fruit, which was kind of them.
