Hm Commerce Hotel

I went in September and had a really good stay. Great hotel, thanks!

I travel often, and this was the worst hotel I’ve ever seen. The rooms and towels are very old, and the smell is awful. There’s no iron, so you have to pay to have your clothes ironed, which is expensive. Having to change the key card every day is a very stupid policy too. Breakfast was poor, with very few choices. I asked for well-done eggs, but they came out runny. When I asked again, they just mixed the original eggs, which were in such bad shape that I couldn’t eat them. If I could give less than one star, I would. Don’t stay here at all.

During my stay, the air conditioner didn’t work, and neither did the mini-bar fridge. Other reviews mention the AC problem too, and it’s hard to believe it still hasn’t been fixed in 2024. Service was almost nonexistent, and the receptionists seemed to have no interest in welcoming guests, with no smiles or hospitality. This was the worst accommodation I’ve ever experienced. There was nothing good about the hotel, and it certainly doesn’t deserve four stars. Don’t believe the people who gave it four or five.

The stay was very expensive, but there was basically no service, including room service. We had to carry our own luggage upstairs, and the room was short on basics. For two people, there was only one cup and one bottle of water. The receptionist was rude and had no manners. She also seemed clearly racist, and that attitude set the tone for a very disappointing experience. The hotel needs to improve its service and doesn’t deserve five stars.
