Mad Inn Hotel & Spa

The location was the reason I picked this hotel, and I stayed five nights. Talha and Tolga, two of the three reception staff I met, were exceptionally courteous and helpful, especially Talha. They kept checking that we were comfortable and were always ready to assist. The location is great and the service was good enough, but I’d rate the hotel 3.5 out of 5 because the rooms need more attention. On our first night, the door lock in our room didn’t work. There were no other rooms available, so we had to spend the night in an unsecured room, which really distressed my partner. It would be especially concerning if two girls were in that situation. We could only move rooms the next morning. Problems like this need to be fixed before guests check in. Very disappointing. There were also people in the room across from us who often smoked and made noise late at night. I raised it, but nothing effective was done. I understand there may be limits to what staff can do, but they could at least tell people not to smoke inside the hotel. The staff treated me well enough that I might stay here alone again. I wouldn’t bring my partner or family, though.
