TRYP by Wyndham Ankara Oran

The restaurant was a highlight for me, with a good breakfast spread and both local and international dishes. I also found the room spacious, modern, and spotless, and the bed made it easy to rest after busy days in Ankara. There was high speed Wi-Fi and a comfortable lounge area too. Getting around was simple since TRYP is close to major sights, shopping, and public transportation. The staff were welcoming and helpful with local dining and sightseeing suggestions, and check-in and checkout were smooth. I had a great stay and would recommend it to leisure and business visitors alike.

The sheets were covered in hair when I went to bed. I asked for a change, but the replacement set still had some hair on it, so I spent the night in a chair. I had only one night in Ankara and needed to drive in the morning, which made it especially frustrating. Breakfast was disappointing too. There was no juice until I asked, and the food was nearly gone an hour before breakfast was due to end. I'm really disappointed my first visit to Ankara included a night here. I do not recommend this hotel.

I liked the hotel, but we had no running water anywhere in the building for one evening and night. We couldn't wash our hands, shower, or use the toilet. The room was also 27-28°C, and the heater or air conditioning was broken and only displayed an error. The airport transfer was really expensive, and the charge was per person.

The room was large and clean, with a good bed, wide windows, and a roomy shower with free toiletries. They also provided water and coffee in the room, though the safe wasn't fixed to the wall. Breakfast was okay, and the room service menu was small. The hotel is close to Panora shopping mall. The main issue for me was English.
