There was no Wi-Fi because of the earthquake, so make sure to buy a mobile phone line before coming. With the hotels there destroyed, this is considered one of the best options for aid and rescue teams and for families volunteering to help. The service employee’s mood varied, from excellent to good, depending on the issue of tipping. Given the crisis, we can’t call it a bad hotel.

It’s a quiet hotel with clean rooms, and the hotel itself is good. The service is lacking, though, with only two employees for the whole place.

A single room costs 2000 TL and a double is 2750 TL. The rooms are nice, and the bathroom and toilet were clean. Breakfast came on a pre-packaged plate with cheese, olives, eggs, three pieces of simit, and tea.

The receptionist, who was probably the owner, behaved as though he were the customer instead of the person providing the service. He wouldn’t show me my room and kept making excuses. That attitude seems to come from there being too few alternative hotels. The place is absolutely terrible.
