AVENA MOUNTAIN HOTEL

That pool and the views around it were gorgeous, and the rooms were beautiful too. Our family had such a memorable holiday, with delicious food and a lot of kindness from everyone looking after us. The tres leches cake may go down in our family history as the best pudding ever. If you want to unwind in nature and be looked after, this is a lovely place. We couldn’t recommend it more.

The drive is part of the adventure, the road is narrow and twisty, but the place is well worth getting to. It’s tucked away with fantastic views over lush green mountains and a very relaxed feel. We were welcomed warmly and the service was great. Our rustic room had the usual amenities, plus a modern bathroom with a big shower. Everything was clean.

We had a group event here for five days, with 22 people, and it was the best hotel we’ve found for hosting one. There were plenty of cozy corners for small groups, plus a room in the restaurant for everyone to meet. The hotel is beautiful, with comfortable rooms, sofas, armchairs, even comfortable chairs, and fruit trees on the grounds. We also made great use of the sauna and organized lovely steam sessions. The food was amazing, with fresh farm fruit every day, desserts, and enough for everyone. Many thanks to all the staff who helped us throughout, especially Paulina, you’re incredible. We’ll recommend the place to our friends, and it’s the first hotel we know we’ll return to.

So quiet and peaceful. The family-run hotel looks out over a wide valley full of trees, with crickets in the background. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. We had a spacious, comfortable room, and the pool also faces the valley. The food was delicious, with cheeses made on site and fruit grown across the hotel’s 6 hectares.
