Arda and Ramazan at the desk were especially lovely, and Guseede in housekeeping was too. All the employees were kind people. The Turkish breakfast was excellent every day. The downside was that renovations and a management change meant we had to switch rooms too many times during our eight-day stay.

The hotel’s location was a bright spot, as was the set-menu breakfast included at the restaurant across the street, with its nice view by the sea. The rest of my stay was disappointing. I’d booked and paid for a standard room with a sea view after checking the hotel website, but was given a first-floor room overlooking the restaurant instead. I showed the photo to reception right after checking in. The receptionist agreed it was the wrong room, but said the sea-view rooms on the upper floors were full and there was nothing he could do. The next morning, another receptionist also confirmed the room was incorrect and said they could move me after an upper-floor guest checked out that day. I came back that night to make the switch, but they’d given that room to someone else. The receptionist said the difference was 200 liras per night, apologized, and offered a coffee on the house. I appreciated the gesture, but by then I’d lost hope. I asked to move to any room without problems, even without a sea view. The bathroom faucet in mine only gave boiling hot water, with no cold water, so I couldn’t wash my hands. They said they’d try to fix it, but it stayed broken for my whole visit and I had to wash my face in the shower. The hotel floors had no carpets, which is normal for a summer hotel, but they’d also run out of disposable slippers. With the windy, dusty weather, the floor got dusty quickly, so I had to wear socks or shoes in the room. In the end, none of the problems were fixed, even though the morning receptionist was kind and said nice things when I checked out. I’d come expecting a working room and a nice sea view, so the stay left me dissatisfied.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the location is perfect. The staff were helpful and very good. Just be aware the rooms aren’t soundproof. For a short stay like mine, I’d strongly recommend this place, and I’d choose it again.
