The location, cleaning staff, and price were the only positives for us. We travel to antalya every three or four months and try somewhere new each time. This was the first place that made me feel I should warn other travelers: paying a little more each night would be worth it. Every night, a dog barked, and the rooms weren’t soundproof. We could hear the neighbors using the toilet and entertaining each other in the evening. The heater didn’t work, the bathroom had broken sharp tiles, and the shower took ten minutes to get warm. We booked half board but didn’t eat there because the food looked inedible.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the rooms were an okay standard. Breakfast was good, though the internet was generally poor. There’s a nosy dog next door. I didn’t use the pool, but even in September there are a couple of spots to lie in the sun when it’s stormy by the shore. I could stay again if prices remain at the 2024 level. For public transport, one trip costs 30 tl, about 2-5 euro, but you need a local buscard. From the terminal, take the Metro and change to bus 30. The flybuss to the airport costs 120 tl. It takes cash and Visa, but not the local card.

The receptionist was kind and eventually helped us get a taxi through very heavy rain, but we waited over half an hour on arrival with nobody else around and no way to check in. We left after only a few hours and found somewhere else to stay. The place looks better outside than inside and needs a complete refurbishment. A lot of it looked old and dusty. The bed was clean but smelled of dust; the bathroom was clean too, though it had only tissue and none of the usual toiletries. The toilet looked very outdated.

Getting around wasn’t easy. The location is alright, but it’s far from the main attractions and malls. The tram doesn’t reach that far, and the bus stop is about a ten minute walk in Antalya’s humid weather. Taxi costs added up, so paying a bit more for a hotel with better public transport links would have been more economical. The room felt worn out. The beds were very uncomfortable, the bedding wasn’t the cleanest, and the TV didn’t work. The key card electricity outlet had no faceplate and exposed wiring. The pool was okay, but it was much deeper than the stated 1m45 shallow end: I’m 1m57, and the water came over my chin when I stood on tiptoes. The deep end must be at least 2.5m. The water felt heavy and looked misty, as if the chemical balance might be off. Breakfast was very basic and not very tasty. We arrived at 3am exhausted, with two small children. I showed the booking email and a staff member led us upstairs, then stopped us with the kids and bags there and demanded another £60, saying check-in ended at 8pm. I argued because I’d called the day before to say my flight had been rescheduled and was told it was fine. He insisted we were due on the 5th, though my email clearly said the 4th. He wouldn’t let us back upstairs or give us the key unless we paid money we didn’t owe. He showed me a name in the system with a check-in date of the 5th, but it wasn’t my name or anything close. After searching without finding my actual name, he claimed the agency had scammed us and hadn’t made a booking. After about 45 minutes of this s**t, he finally let us go to the room and speak to the manager in the morning. At breakfast, we were handed an envelope trying to get us to book tours with their rep. I asked the manager about my booking, and he just said, "okay." When I asked if it was sorted, he replied in an annoyed way, "yes, yes, okay." He’s a man of few words and frankly rude. One nice touch was a fountain with turtles inside who seemed happy enough, and the lift worked fine. I can’t really recommend the place for either the staff or the location. You’d spend the extra money on taxis anyway.
