Being surrounded by nature made for a lovely, relaxing atmosphere, and the animals were amazing :) The hotel was convenient and really nice in general. The food was good; meals repeated, but that didn’t bother us. The staff were pleasant, especially Omar and Islam, who were always helpful and friendly. The rooms could have been cleaner, and reception staff could speak more English. It was hard to get answers to basic questions. Still, we had a good experience :)

The evening shows were great fun, and you could see how much effort the whole entertainment team put into making guests happy. Hasan and Levent were especially good, welcoming us and keeping the energy up through the day and night. We stayed at Champion this October for a girls’ trip and had the best time. It was a perfect blend of relaxing and fun. I’d absolutely recommend it for a girls’ getaway or anyone after a sunny, lively break.

The forest setting near the mountains is beautiful, and having pools and bars spread across different areas is a plus. I especially liked the silent pool. Our room was comfortable and of a high standard, but housekeeping could be more attentive. For example, they sometimes didn’t replace the toilet paper after it ran out. The food was the biggest problem. It was tasteless, cold, not fresh, repetitive, and had no local character. When something ran out, it wasn’t replenished. Once there was no cheese left for toast, so you were stuck making bread with ketchup. I tried spaghetti bolognese for the first time with more onions than tomatoes; the sauce was basically water, onion, and some tomato paste over overcooked pasta. Ravioli that tasted awful one day turned up the next day as “macaroni,” apparently the same leftovers under a suspicious-looking sauce. The buffet was mostly endless tomato and cucumber combinations, with white or red cabbage, lettuce, and lots of black and green olives, whole, sliced, or made into paste. The toaster looked like it had never been cleaned. Bread stuck to its dirty top cover, as the photos show, and the toast bread was dry and seemed to have been sitting there for days. Fish and chicken on the grill were burnt to a crisp and tasted awful. Grilling them sent horrible smells and thick, irritating smoke across the beach. We started looking for places to eat outside because the hotel food was inedible. For a high price and a five-star claim, the quality was completely unjustified. I strongly recommend avoiding this place unless you’re fine eating frozen fries every day, the only thing that seemed safe to eat without worrying about getting sick. The bar service was another letdown. Bartenders couldn’t make even simple cocktails and ran around looking for someone else who could prepare the drink. Their English was so poor it was almost impossible to give basic instructions, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming five stars. Some were rude and arrogant, acting like guests were bothering them by ordering. Okan at the beach bar was the one person who saved the impression, genuinely trying to provide friendly, professional service.

The best part of the stay was Hassan from the animation team. He seemed to be the only one there who was really doing anything, and he did a great job, especially at the Bohem party. The beach bar bartenders were friendly too. But I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. In August 2025, I had to go to reception almost every day with a new problem, and the trip became so stressful that I just wanted it to end. Reception was painfully slow. They’d tell you to remind them about an issue, so I had to keep going back every ten minutes, sometimes five times. Many rooms are old and poorly cleaned. Mine had black mold in the shower, and they wanted extra money to move me. I had to explain I was allergic to mold before they gave me a renovated standard room at no extra charge. Towels and sheets weren’t changed daily unless I asked, and often no one responded. The cleaner even picked up towels we’d left on the floor and put them back as if they were clean. That was gross. The blond woman in the guest relations office was rude whenever I asked for help. Once she told me she didn’t know what I should do and to ask somebody else. The bar cocktails tasted watered down too. I had five and didn’t even feel like I’d had a drink. For the amount we paid, the service was unpleasant and it doesn’t feel right to call this a five-star resort. I won’t come back. I hope this feedback leads to changes.

The beach was good, and there were plenty of sunbeds. The hotel itself was lovely and clean, with a perfect location. We really enjoyed the animation shows and activities. Hande, Levent, and Hassan were amazing, funny, and helpful. We’d definitely come back for a third visit.
