Echinus Lara Hotel

Ms.Tugce deserves a big thank you. The staff were friendly, the hotel was calm and peaceful, and the rooms were clean and well kept. I’ll definitely come back.

We’d happily stay again. Echinus Hotel is small and seems well suited to a day or two. Svetlana at reception was kind and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Compliments to Chef Katya!

We booked four nights through Booking.com, but on arrival the hotel said it couldn’t accommodate us for the first night and sent us to another place that was in very poor condition. When we came back the following day, our room still wasn’t ready. We tried to cancel, but staff said that wasn’t possible and told us to contact Booking.com. At reception I saw the manager take a call from Booking, then he denied it was them and gave no clear answers. It felt very unprofessional. After hours of calls and discussion, we managed to cancel. The property promised to refund three nights, but we never received the money. I called Booking.com four times and contacted the hotel directly, with no response. A completely unreliable and dishonest experience. Don’t risk staying here.

The food at breakfast was tasty, and the coffee was nice too. Thanks to Sheff Katerina. It’s a quiet hotel with clean rooms, right by the bus station, and everything is close. Receptionist Svetlana was friendly, professional and took good care of guests. She made it feel like home. I highly recommend it.
