Elitay Otel

It seemed like a nice place, which makes this disappointing. About a month and a half later, they charged an extra amount to my credit card without explaining why. I can't recommend it.

I booked at the last minute and the woman at the desk was lovely, polite, and really helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy too. I’d recommend staying here and would come back if I’m in the area.

We liked the fresh renovation, the friendly staff, and the location. The pool was clean with sun loungers, and breakfast was included. From a west-facing room, the mountain view was unbelievably beautiful. The hotel is in a quiet area with what you need nearby, and it’s a 5-7 minute walk to the beach, where the water was clear and there were lots of fish. You apparently can’t use the pool after 8 pm, though I’m not completely sure. If your window faces the pool, it should still be quiet enough to sleep. We arrived right after the hotel opened and were the first guests in the renovated rooms, so we experienced some things later guests may not have. The elevator installation only started the day before we left, so for two weeks we walked up to the third floor. Breakfast was filling but sparse when there were few guests, then got more varied as the hotel filled up. Our room had no balcony furniture or bathroom hooks, though those may have been added since. There was no hair dryer, which mattered to our long-haired family, but Azat brought one for us. Most of the staff didn’t speak English, apart from Azat and another woman who was his sister. Still, they tried to help instead of brushing us off, and used a translator. Two Russian-speaking women joined the staff near the end of our stay, which I imagine will make things easier for Russian speakers. Azat helped with everything, including calling a doctor and arranging an appointment when our child got sick. Room cleaning was poor at first. Towels weren’t changed, and we had to ask for toilet paper and shampoo. Azat addressed it after we mentioned it. I also missed having a microwave and milk at breakfast. At first we brought our own coffee, then instant coffee and powdered milk appeared in the dining room. We bought milk and cereal for our son, and I had to take the milk to the kitchen to get it warmed. The staff were always happy to help, but it would have been easier to warm it ourselves, and warm milk and children's cereal at breakfast would be better. All in all, we were happy with the hotel and would like to return. It felt fair for the price. Thanks to Azat and everyone there, a good start, keep it up!

The rooms are nice and the facilities feel new. It’s close to the beach, so it worked well for a relaxing stay. The staff were lovely and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it :)
