Mi Hotel Boutique Antalya

A comfortable room and good WiFi made this a great place to stay in Antalya, especially for working. The woman at reception was friendly and helpful. Thank you 🙏

I chose Mi Hotel Butik for an eight-night visit in April-May 2025, mainly to see dentists in Antalya city. After visiting a few practices, I settled on LaraDent dental surgery, a short walk away, for implant surgery. I haven’t regretted that choice. I booked and paid in advance through booking.com and other online agents. The total was €245.16, including local taxes. The location is convenient for the health clinics in the nearby Lara district. Zerdailik, the red 'nostalgik' tram stop, is only a few metres away. The tram moves slowly into Kaleiçi old town, and a single ride costs 33 lira. The hotel was a useful base for my needs, and the room and bed were comfortable enough. Still, there’s better value accommodation nearer the old town center of Kaleiçi, so I probably wouldn’t return. My double room was small, with hardly enough space to stand beside the bed. Neither the room nor the shower room was cleaned during my stay, and I had to find a place outside to empty my own bin. The air conditioning worked well, and there was a mini-refrigerator, safe, kettle, and a limited supply of hot drink items that wasn’t replenished. The washbasin never had hot water during all eight nights. The hotel was apparently built on the footprint of a demolished high rise. The finish is adequate and the decor quirky, but by European standards it isn’t really a 'boutique' hotel. Food is limited to drinks and snacks at a café bar, and it was expensive for Turkey and for what was served. A little farther from the Lara seafront, in the residential area, I found some nice traditional Turkish cafés that are well worth choosing over the many hotel bars and restaurants. An emergency came up unexpectedly, and I had to cancel at the last minute, well after the free cancellation period. I was stressed, but the hotel staff understood and let me cancel without charging anything. Their flexibility and kindness meant a lot at a difficult time. I haven’t stayed there yet, but I’ll book with them in the future. I’d recommend them for their customer service.

The location is excellent, right beside a tram stop that’s handy for the old town and even Muze station for the beach. But during our eight days, the room was cleaned only once, and only after we asked on day four. Otherwise, we’d have been left with the same towels and no toilet paper for the whole stay. I’ve never experienced hotel rooms not being cleaned like this. The hotel wasn’t very clean in general. The toilet kept running until you pressed it again, and the paper holder was coming off the wall. The shower swung between hot and cold every five seconds, making it hard to wash unless you like icy water. The worst part was staff talking and laughing in the courtyard until 2-3 AM, smoking and playing music on their phones. They stopped only after being told that guests were trying to sleep, as if that was news to them. Reception staff spoke only very basic English, enough for check-in and check-out, so conversations or questions were difficult. I wouldn’t recommend this place, despite the great location.
