Holiday Inn Antalya Lara Hotel

You do get value for money, but the balcony rooms are tiny. The air conditioning stays at its lowest setting no matter what temperature you select. Maybe the small rooms make those very tiny units super effective 🤔😂😂😂. They seem to do two things at the same time, start and finish.

The sound carries easily from room to room, and loud phone calls at night from inconsiderate guests made it especially hard to sleep. The pool is currently closed, which was disappointing, and the hotel feels dated overall, with rooms that could use refurbishment. I don't think it meets international 5-star standards. You're also not allowed to bring outside food or drinks into the rooms. The lobby bar and restaurant are fairly expensive and sit right on the route to the rooms, which might not work for everyone.

The towels in our room were dirty, which was already a bad sign for the hotel's upkeep. Then, days before checkout, staff accused me of taking things from the room, without any proof. They did it rudely and aggressively, and instead of taking responsibility they doubled down and treated me like a criminal. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. Absolutely unacceptable, avoid this place.

Yeliz deserves a special mention for being friendly, kind, and always ready to help. The staff were attentive, polite, respectful, and incredibly hospitable throughout my stay. Chef Haleel also deserves thanks, the food was fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious, with lots of options to choose from. I spent six days at Holiday Inn Lara, and it was my favorite hotel experience in Antalya. Everything was exceptionally clean and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. My expectations were exceeded, and I'll definitely return. I'd highly recommend Holiday Inn Lara to anyone visiting Antalya.
