Just Inn City

The hotel is right in the city centre, opposite the old town. I stayed for 4 days in December 2025. The room was pleasant and easy to use, with nice decor, a fridge, coffee machine, kettle, cups, and glasses. The receptionist was nice and spoke English. The shower was blocked, and I asked for it to be repaired. The sockets are badly placed just above the mattress, and it's easy to hit the light switches by accident while moving around. They need to be higher. Breakfast was a small bread roll and croissant with jam and coffee. The juice machine wasn't working and hadn't been filled with water, while four staff members were standing around smoking in the dining room. That's my honest opinion of the hotel.

The bed was pretty comfortable, but the room got so hot that we had to open the door to get some air. Breakfast was basic, just puff pastry and bread, though that's what the price gets you. The location and cost would bring me back. The hotel is opposite the old town entrance, within walking distance of everywhere, with lots of places to eat nearby.

The location is the only thing I liked. The air conditioning took ages to cool the room, so don't expect relief in the afternoon. I booked a non-smoking room, but it smelled strongly of smoke whenever I came back. Disgusting. What made me angriest was housekeeping taking a cover with something precious to me and throwing it away. How could they toss something without checking the bag? The staff were no help, didn't know what they were talking about, and didn't care what I said. There are plenty of other hotels, so don't waste your money here. Edit: Don't tell me housekeeping didn't take my painting. I know they did. How else would something mysteriously disappear from my room? I hadn't asked for the room to be cleaned, which is what your instructions say.

The location is good, but our room had no view or window. The toilet area was so cramped I hit my knee on the toilet and sink several times. Breakfast was a letdown too: a couple of drinks or coffee, then just a croissant, bread, and Nutella as the meal. Seeing “Breakfast included” when I booked, I expected an actual breakfast, not a snack. Very disappointed, and I won't return.
