Sofa Kalei̇çi̇ Apart-Hotel

Breakfast was a highlight, with bread and a spread of cheeses, salads, meats, jams, and other toppings. The rooms felt cosy, and the showers were surprisingly spacious with strong water pressure, a small thing that many hotels overlook. When we asked, the rooms were tidied beautifully, with the bed, towels, and pyjamas taken care of. They also left us two bottles of water each time they made up the bed. The boss lady was lovely, and even let the cats around the hotel lounge inside or sit on their porch. The hotel is tucked into the old city, about halfway between Hadrian’s Gate and the sea. Good service, a homely feel, and a great location. I’d stay here again if I’m back in Antalya.

The staff gave me a warm welcome and were all happy to help whenever I needed something. My standard double room was decent for a boutique hotel in Kalecei, with some recently renovated modern touches. Sofa Hotel is really central, so it worked well as a base for getting to the tourist spots and everything else I needed.

We stopped at Sofa hotel for breakfast and really enjoyed it. The food was tasty and good value, and eating in the quiet, picturesque back garden was a treat. The front of house staff were friendly. Thanks especially to Funda and Nur for showing us one of the rooms. We’d recommend breakfast here and are looking forward to staying at the hotel next time we visit the Old Town.

I was able to swim in the sea every day, about 1 km from the hotel. There’s also a nearby park with a nice promenade along the water, just right for morning runs. I spent 10 days here and was very happy with the stay. The staff were polite and helpful, and the Turkish breakfast was high quality. The hotel is in the center of historic Kaleiçi, with plenty of cafés, pubs, and shops within walking distance. SOFA Hotel is comfortable and conveniently placed.
