Venus Hotel

Though the room itself was clean and neat, it was very ordinary for the price, and breakfast wasn't included. When we complained about noise outside and asked to move, the situation escalated into a heated argument that nearly had us calling the police. We had paid in cash, and they said we'd entered the room and used the conditioner for a minute, using that as an excuse. They refused to speak English and insisted that because we were in Turkey, we had to speak Turkish. An older cleaner also kept yelling nonstop. I won't return. Maybe there's a better place to stay. Book through a legitimate booking site, and don't pay cash if you come here.

The hotel has a homestyle kitchen, and all the food we had there was fresh and delicious. It's also in a great spot near the sea, markets, the bus stop and cafes. The place was cozy, clean and very nice, with friendly staff always happy to answer questions. I'll definitely return in the fall.

I asked to change rooms because mine was very noisy, but the staff argued with me. During the conflict they were rude and said hostile things. They know English, but answered me in Turkish instead, which made it a bad experience. I'll never choose this hotel again.

There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, and a SOK shop just around the corner for anything you need. The hotel is in Konyaaltı, has an elevator, and offers spacious, clean rooms that smell nice. For the price, the room size and service are excellent, better than other hotels in Konyaaltı I've tried so far. Fetihe speaks English and was easy to reach and very helpful. I'll definitely come back and recommend the hotel to family and friends.
