Green Ayder Hotel

I regret not going into Storm Valley. I arrived at night on a holiday and didn’t make it there, though I hear there are much nicer hotels with better views as soon as you enter the valley. This one isn’t suitable for families, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The whole place smelled old and bad from the entrance. There was a bullet hole in the restaurant window on the 7th floor, and they hadn’t even replaced the glass.

We had to split the group between other hotels after arriving to find there were no rooms or food, despite my having paid a 3000 TL group deposit. We were treated terribly, and I never got the money back. I consider them scammers. We called the police, but they didn’t act and said, “Why did you come here? This is a place where thieves and scoundrels stay.” Don’t go to this hotel!

I wouldn’t pay even 50 TL for this place. It’s damp, crawling with mosquitoes, and there’s no air conditioning. The 35-inch TV didn’t work, and even if you found someone to help, they didn’t have the remote. There’s also a strong smoke smell I can’t understand. Definitely not somewhere for families, more like a truck driver’s hotel.

We were left stranded at the last minute. We’d booked for July 26-27, but when we arrived, they said a tour group was coming and wouldn’t let us stay. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. There are other places in the area that seem to do their work with more dedication and quality.
