The stay was quiet and pleasant, but dealing with the staff was a problem. They weren’t helpful and didn’t know how to handle the Booking.com app. Before paying, I changed my reservation in the app to shorten it and contacted them through Booking. They told me I could make the adjustment when I arrived. When I got there, they still charged me for every night and wouldn’t accept the change I’d made. They said they only use Booking to communicate, nothing else. I had to pay because I knew finding a reasonably priced hotel on the first day of Eid would be difficult. They also don’t speak English, which made communication frustrating and really hard. I’m now working with the Booking.com support team to try to sort it out.

The first problem came when we arrived: the line manager closely inspected our car while my wife and daughter were inside. Aness, though, was respectful and did everything he could to help us. I hope he finds a better job and gets away from that unhealthy management environment. The owner charged us $150 for two children, with no added services. We had booked for four adults, but arrived as two adults, one teenager under 16, and three children under 12. Even so, I paid nearly 17,000 TL, including a 5,000 TL overcharge. I was also asked to pay cash to avoid taxes. The property emailed the booking site saying we hadn't shown up, apparently to cancel the reservation and avoid its fees. At breakfast on the first day, there were only two omelettes available, and we were told they had run out of eggs. They promised to sort it out the next day, but that didn't happen. On our last day we skipped breakfast because we couldn't face seeing them again. Shame on you.

The owner really made our stay at Oce Bungalow special. He was always ready to help, and even let us leave our car there for several weeks while we were away. The bungalows were cozy and tidy too. We'd happily recommend it.
