The garage and garden looked like the pictures, which was a plus, but our stay was disappointing after all the research we did beforehand. The road from the main road was rough, and with our baby we struggled to warm the bungalow even with the air conditioning. The bathroom was very cold, and when we tried to use the jacuzzi after dinner, the water was off. It still hadn't come back by morning, so we couldn't use the jacuzzi or the toilet and bathroom. We also couldn't use the tea and coffee maker. The Turkish coffee machine was dirty, with coffee left inside. Maybe things weren't paid much attention to because we came in the off-season, and breakfast wasn't provided either for that reason. When we called the owners in the morning about the water, they checked with the village headman, confirmed it had been cut off, apologized, and offered to take 500 TL off. Even so, 2500 TL felt like more than the conditions deserved, and we didn't feel they cared much about customer satisfaction. On the way to Ayder Plateau we noticed Yamantürk Teachers' Inn farther down the road, where the reviews were good. We might have been happier if we'd stayed there.

The rooms and view were nice, and the price was reasonable. The drive in was a bit rough, but we still had a pleasant stay. My only issue came when I tried to share a few small points at the end. The owner didn't seem very professional about it. I mentioned a burnt taste from the kettle, and felt the response should have been along the lines of, “Thanks, we'll look into it.” Instead, I was told to report problems directly next time so they could work out whether the fault was mine, followed by “Thanks anyway.” I found that absurd. I wouldn't want to bother the owner at 1 AM over a burnt taste, and even if I'd broken the kettle myself, I could have claimed it was already broken when I arrived. The reply felt insincere and a bit like blaming the customer. Still, we had an enjoyable stay. Thank you.

We stayed for one night on Saturday, May 17, 2025, and wished we could have stayed longer. It's close to the coast, so you don't have to climb over mountains, yet it's still surrounded by nature and a good place to disconnect from the outside world. The welcome and attention were better than we expected, as was breakfast. Everything was clean and tidy. I'd recommend it.

Surrounded by tea gardens below the stream on the Ayder road, this was our favorite place to stay in the Black Sea region, even though we've visited about six times. There aren't any houses close by, so it feels like the whole place is yours. We felt at home, thanks to the attentive family who own it and the lovely atmosphere. The mountain view and peaceful setting make it a great place to unwind. I definitely recommend the bungalow.

We came with our children and really enjoyed the clean air and the sound of the bubbling stream right in front of us. The view, breakfast, cleanliness, and closeness to places to visit were all lovely. The woman who looked after us deserves a special mention: she welcomed us so warmly and saw us off with the same care. She's very sweet, kind, and friendly. I'm so glad we came. If we're back, "Usula Bungolav" will be our only choice.
