The room alone made the drive worthwhile: it’s built around a tree, with just the tree and your room, and the cleanliness was better than I expected for a place in the jungle. The food was amazing, and they grow their own tea in the garden. The owners were so welcoming, polite, and always smiling; they happily explained everything around their jungle. I can’t really put the place into words. For cooler weather, I’d choose October, November, April, or May. It was humid when we visited. Thank you, Mr. Hussein, from the bottom of our hearts for making our stay so special. It was worth the trip and the money.

The hosts made us feel welcome, and breakfast was incredibly generous and delicious. We’ll remember the little cabin for a long time. It has a lovely view across the whole valley, a wonderfully comfortable bed, and a wood oven that kept us warm. Such a special stay, highly recommended.

Our guide Dilala recommended this spot, so we came for breakfast and were glad we did. The view is wonderful, and there was plenty of variety. Everything was tasty, especially the muhlama, a type of omelet, and the eggs.

We felt right at home thanks to the hosts, who were friendly and genuine. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We spent a few quiet days surrounded by nature, breathing the fresh air and enjoying the lovely valley views. I’d happily recommend Olimbera Village House to anyone looking for a peaceful nature retreat. We hope to come back soon.

Those little cabins on the mountain and the fantastic view made this one of the most unusual places we’ve stayed. There’s a wood stove ready to light, or you can choose the electric heater. The last hill up to the hotel entrance is really steep, so give it some gas, as the “kaptır” warning says. Worth trying for a different kind of stay and a nice breakfast.
