Altuncu Thermal Hotel

The thermal pool and sauna were nice, and the hotel is right in the city center, so getting around was easy. The outdoor pool looked clean as well, though it was too cold for us to use it. Breakfast had some variety and was reasonable for the price. We came as two families for two nights after seeing very positive reviews online, so our expectations were high. Sadly, the stay fell well short. At times both families were just waiting for the holiday to be over. We wouldn't choose this hotel again, though people looking for affordable accommodation might find it good value. Cleanliness was a concern. The space under the bed was quite dirty, the blinds needed cleaning, and room cleaning had other shortcomings. The shower water kept switching between hot and cold, and the other family had the same issue. Dinner was limited in both quantity and choice. On arrival day, we went out to eat around 6:45 PM and found the food had already run out. Staff kindly tried to help by preparing soup and minced meat with eggs specially for us, but having dinner run out that early wasn't pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciate their effort. This isn't meant as an attack on the establishment. I hope the feedback is considered and the issues are addressed so service can improve.

Dinner had a lovely sea view, and Mr. Yusuf Can greeted us at the restaurant door with a smile. The soup was fantastic, and so was the raw meatball dish. The chef did well with those, though I'd suggest she keep improving. The revani was good, but the rice pudding was burnt underneath, very badly. I wouldn't have served it that way, and it left a negative impression. I hope the chef learns from it and doesn't serve burnt rice pudding like that again, since it isn't good for people's health. The venue is spacious and elegant, with a central location and a lively feel. The staff were friendly and seemed to take customer satisfaction seriously. The rooms were comfortable and functional, and the corridors were wide. Compared with many places I've stayed, I felt relaxed, happy, and at peace there. Everyone seemed to be trying to do their job properly.

I recently saw reviews about this facility that felt completely unfair and untrue, so I wanted to share what I experienced. The place felt like a peaceful escape, with its nature and design. As someone who's sensitive about hygiene, I was impressed by how clean everything was. The rooms, bathrooms, textiles, shared areas, and even the garden were spotless, with no dust that I could see and a lovely smell. The furniture and equipment were clean, carefully maintained, and all working. The meals were fresh, varied, and nicely presented. From breakfast through dinner, I felt the kitchen team took pride in their work. I can't see how a negative comment about the food would be fair. The staff made guests feel at home, from the warm welcome to the attentive restaurant team. Management responded quickly to needs, and requests were handled practically. Everyone was sincere, respectful, and well trained, with good coordination behind the scenes. We enjoyed every moment. Congratulations to the whole team for their hard work. Claims that these reviews are smear campaigns driven by commercial concerns or bad intent shouldn't overshadow their effort. I'd choose the place again without hesitation.

The 1+1 rooms were spotless and especially good for families, with a strong price-to-value ratio. Meals at breakfast and dinner were satisfying. The hammam was clean, and the sauna was excellent in keeping with the Turkish bath concept. Thanks again to Ms. Selma and Mr. Ahmet. See you next year.
