The rooms didn't even have a table, chairs, or a trash bin. The floors were bare ceramic, there were no mosquito screens, and the doors and windows were broken. In the kitchens, there was no stove, just one fork, a teapot, two plates, and a greasy pan. The beds squeaked badly whenever we moved. The bathroom setup was awful. The toilet and bathroom were right beside each other, the toilet leaked, and there was no water in the evenings. The food was a mess too: we ordered menemen and got tomato soup instead, then paid 250 TL for it. When we asked the older woman there for toilet paper, she spoke to us rudely. A place charging 2500 TL a day shouldn't grumble over a single roll, and it simply isn't worth that price. They need to learn how to treat their first customers better. Close the kitchen if it's going to be such a waste, renovate the toilets, and at least put stoves and proper utensils in the rooms. I wouldn't choose this place again.

The garden was really beautiful, and the owners were helpful. We also enjoyed eating and having tea on the terrace, with its forest and sea views. The rooms, though, were small and had old beds. The toilet and shower were combined in the room.

It wasn't a terrible stay, though there was room for improvement. The room felt a little old and hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. We were near the beach, but there were no towels at first, and the ones we got after asking were dirty. At checkout, we raised our complaints with Mr. Turgut. He said he could have helped if we'd told him earlier, and I appreciate his effort.

The place had a quiet, family-friendly feel, and for a week we felt more at home than in a hotel. Turgut abi, the owner and manager, took care of people individually and dealt with problems right away. We had some lovely conversations with him too. Thanks to him and the rest of the staff for a really nice holiday at the Sailing Guesthouse.

The pictures showed a pool, but there wasn't one. Inside, the refrigerator was rusty, the bathroom outlet was exposed, and the beds and sheets weren't clean. Early in the morning, foreigners shouting inside the guesthouse woke us up.
