The welcoming staff were the highlight. Reception speaks several languages, including Turkish, English, and Russian, and they helped with our luggage both on the way to the room and when we left for the taxi. It’s a modern place, just a few minutes from the airport, and worked well for an overnight stop. The hotel shuttle costs $30 one way, while a taxi through Uber may be about $17.

The rooms are decent enough, but the noise from planes landing and taking off was a bit disturbing. The hotel is near Istanbul airport, around 15 minutes by taxi. They told me the iron wasn’t working.

I can’t recommend staying here. The hotel is stylish and less than a year old, but the cleaning was poor, with a dirty toilet and stains. The worst part was the man at the front desk, who was rude and belittling when I checked in, likely because I turned down the 30 euro airport shuttle. A taxi costs 400 TL and is a much better option. At checkout, I had a positive interaction with the other staff, a bearded gentleman and a young boy, but that didn’t undo the experience. I’ve been to more than 20 countries and have never had a hotel employee behave so aggressively. Last year in Istanbul I stayed at another nearby hotel and had a great experience, with a spotless room, different snacks, and friendly staff who understood customer service. Those things were missing here.

We had a long layover and chose a hotel for the night instead of waiting at the airport. The staff were nice and polite, and I liked that cold bottled water, tea and coffee bags, sugar, and disposable slippers were included at no extra charge. The room was clean and had what we needed: a shower, towels, a hair dryer, wardrobe, comfortable bed, TV, small fridge, and AC.
