We went as part of a tour group of 12, and the food came out pretty quickly. Portions were generous too. My friend and I split a mixed pide, while I had lentil soup and she ordered the mushroom appetizer. We were stuffed, and everything tasted good.

I’m vegetarian and can’t have dairy, so I asked for a vegetable pide without cheese. The waiter went back and forth with me and kept saying it couldn’t be done, but they did make it in the end. Apparently, it was the first cheese-free pide they’d prepared at this restaurant. Thanks, Zelve chefs, for making sure I didn’t leave hungry 😎

The cave-style décor and gentle lighting fit the local feel so well, especially in the evening. I had a wonderful meal at Zelve Restaurant in Cappadocia, where the atmosphere felt warm and relaxing.

The food and service feel really authentic. The yellow peppers are a nice way to add some heat. Give the lentil and tripe soups a try.👌👌
