Yaren Hotel

People say no meeting happens by chance, and meeting İsmail abi felt like that to me. He's the business owner, but the place has a real family atmosphere. I admire that he's a wonderful businessman who goes against this century's aggressive drive for profit. My brother Samet also deserves thanks for the laughs and good conversation. I've come away with many lovely memories, and I think you'll leave happy too.

I've never had a hotel stay this awful. We've stayed in places costing 1000 TL and 50,000 TL, and even the cheapest gave us clean towels and a clean room. Here I was exhausted and still spent an hour cleaning our room myself. Dust alone would have been one thing, but the toilet, fridge, and other things were filthy. We were disgusted and had to plug and wipe them ourselves. The food was inadequate and upset our stomachs. The staff were so sullen they seemed to be working at gunpoint. We came as a couple and found just one towel in the room, which we made do with that day. When we asked for another the next day, we were told there wasn't one and they could only give us one in four days. Mr. Ismail kindly stepped in, but the staff overall seemed uninformed and clueless about hotel management. They absolutely don't deserve what they charge. At the very least, the room and towels should have been clean. We deeply regret staying there and only had to because we'd paid upfront. We work hard for our money too, but we don't give people service like this. May God judge them. I hope they think about the service they gave and change their ways.

The new owner, İsmail Bey, is warm, sincere, and wonderful to deal with. He happily handled all our requests with a smile. The hotel has a quiet, peaceful, vintage feel and works perfectly for families. We stayed seven days, and he also cooks. Dinner was delicious, with a lovely à la carte experience. Breakfast and dinner were included, and the price was very reasonable, great value for money. There's no trace of the previous owner. The hotel gets very full, so call ahead to book.

I'd heard about this hotel, but the earlier reviews had made me unsure about staying. Under the new owner, though, it's a totally different place. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming. Cleanliness, care, and service were all outstanding, and breakfast was generous and nicely prepared. It's good to see the hotel in such capable hands now. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Good luck!
