Avsa Artemis Hotel

The room was new, the location was good, and the staff were cheerful and generous. But it wasn’t clean enough. There was lots of dust under the beds and on the floor, and even after we asked for cleaning, it was still there. Breakfast didn’t offer much variety, and the WiFi was very weak. With a baby, having no hot water in the afternoon was really hard and tiring for us.

Respect.

The internet was terrible, and we couldn’t use it at all. When we first arrived, the sheets and pillowcases were stained. They were replaced after we mentioned it, but the new ones weren’t much better. There was a bad smell from the toilet drain, and breakfast was so limited that picky eaters might go hungry. The hotel itself is small. The aquapark was fun, although cracks in the flooring up top looked dangerous, and I wasn’t sure the pool was very clean. The beach cushions were quite dirty, though we could manage. Prices were a little higher than elsewhere, but not excessively so.

None of us were satisfied. We came as two families, seven people in all, and after two days I felt I’d wasted 15,000 TL. The pool was average and very deep for someone my height, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. The rooms were new and clean, but there were no personal hygiene items, and during our stay nobody cleaned or refilled the refrigerator. We’d booked a family room for four and received only two bottles of water on the first day. Breakfast was advertised as a buffet, but there was hardly anything to eat, no omelet or menemen, and the pastries upset our stomachs. I was shocked by breakfast. They said checkout was at 12, then tried to make us leave at 11. I will never come back. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever seen.
