They've ringed the public beach with fishing nets, which feels like outright theft and is incredibly disrespectful. They were already running boats through areas where people swim. This place is ridiculous and bothers everyone.

The food was disappointing across the board. The hamburger had nothing in it, and they bulked up the Ayvalık toast with tomato. Even basics like the ketchup and mayonnaise weren't good. We started with sparkling mineral water, which cost far more than usual despite being a brand I didn't even recognize. When we went inside to pay, the young women working there kept joking and laughing with each other while we waited for our change, and they were swearing on top of that. One point is too generous for this place.

We were on holiday and just trying to cast a line on the beach with my 12-year-old son for fun. Neither of us knows how to fish. Then this rude woman came over, talked nonsense, and ruined the peace. We found out she owns the place. Her husband was a gentleman, but someone like her shouldn't be in such a respectable spot. She talks about law and order, yet closing off the beach seems to be what her own law allows. I've never met anyone so disrespectful.

Our balcony was nice, but the building was old and neglected, the floors were dirty, and the toilet had urine and feces stains. We went through two cans of bleach to clean it, despite being told the room was clean. Nazire was grumpy and unpleasant whenever we asked for anything, like a sullen judge. The online rental had misled us, but with the children and my mother, we had no choice but to take the first place we could find in a hurry, up on a hill. We stayed August 10-14, 2018. We had a 1 pm bus and had agreed with Mr. Mustafa, who I think was the other manager, to leave at 12:30. But Ms. Nazire, the apartment building's owner, showed up ten minutes before 11 and said we had to be out by 11 because another customer was coming. If you want to pay to be humiliated, that's your choice. The praise about complimentary coffee, cookies, and friendly service makes me laugh. Supposedly.
