We felt at home as soon as we arrived at Assos Üç Oda Holiday Apartment, and the whole stay was unforgettable. Emre was a wonderful host, kind and attentive, and always ready to help. You can tell he truly cares about his guests and wants them to have a great time. The location is peaceful and beautifully placed for enjoying Assos, and waking up there each morning felt like a privilege. It's one of the most comfortable and friendly places we've stayed. If you're after warmth, an authentic feel, and a lovely atmosphere, this is the place. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to come back!

That upstairs balcony is a lovely spot to take in the quiet village, and after dark the galaxy is so clear you can see it overhead. The Athena temple is close by too. I came for a peaceful Turkish village stay, and 3 oda was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Turkey. It has just three rooms, but Kerem and Zalina make you feel so looked after. They’re warm and ready to help with even odd requests, like finding me a screwdriver or a head torch, and the service felt like a five-star resort. The place is full of thoughtful touches. They put a note on my door in Chinese saying “welcome home SONG,” and every little corner shows how much care they’ve put into it. My room had three windows overlooking the village, a comfortable bed, a power bank, telescope, flatiron, and an old Game Boy that still worked and played Super Mario. The shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were L’Occitane. There’s a big fridge by the kitchen with free drinks, except beer, and snacks. Breakfast was great, with every dish tasty. Zalina’s cheesecake was especially good, though it isn’t served every day, so you have to be lucky. They also have an older dog, Kant, and a chubby, cute cat, Coco. Both are friendly, so animal lovers will enjoy meeting them. A couple of practical things: Assos is easier if you’re driving. A return taxi from nearby Kucukkuyu can cost more than a flight back to Istanbul. The Wi-Fi is weak, which makes sense in such a remote village near Turkey’s western edge. If you come here, it’s a place to enjoy a quiet break instead of staring at your phone. It won’t suit people looking for a modern city or nightlife.

Staying at Assos 3 Oda was one of the highlights of our Turkey trip. If you’re heading to Assos, stay here. Zalina and Kerem are wonderful hosts, and we had an amazing time.

The little details made it clear how much thought the owners put into the place, like the calendar in our room set to the day we arrived and binoculars beside the window. It’s a special spot to slow down, turn inward, and find some peace. We stayed two nights with our dog, who loved being with us off leash, so I especially recommend it for people travelling with pets. The owners were incredibly hospitable. When the weather turned bad and my wife and I didn’t feel like going out, they shared their homemade lunch with us, and it was amazing. Breakfast was delicious too, the kind you want to keep eating. Thanks so much for everything. We’ll definitely come back. We chose the place based on these reviews, and they still don’t do it justice.

The first thing we enjoyed each morning was breakfast from Zalina and Kerem, with the view of Assos spread out below. Their recommendations were just as good: Kadırga Bay was only a five-minute drive and absolutely lovely, and “Ethem ile Aslı” in Sivrice had a warm, pleasant atmosphere and distinctive mezes. At the end of the day, we were glad we’d taken Kerem’s advice. From booking through arrival, Zalina and Kerem stayed in touch, sent directions and video descriptions, and checked when we’d get there. They’re so open and friendly that walking in felt like seeing a cousin you hadn’t seen in years. The stone house is easy to love. Lavender fills the room, which is peaceful and furnished with a mix of minimalist and antique pieces. Even the small sachets on the wall have surprises inside. There was a fully charged power bank, and a Gameboy that took us right back to childhood memories. If you want a quiet, relaxing place away from the noise, 3 Oda is a wonderful choice. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
