We found lots of lovely spots outside to read or just relax, and there are even rock outcrops on the property where you can sit and enjoy the view. Inside, there’s a shared room with books, and plenty of cats, including some naughty kittens! The room itself was beautiful, Wi-Fi was good, and the air conditioning worked well. It’s in the medieval town just below the acropolis and temple, a fantastic place to stay. The owners went out of their way to help us, giving us lifts and picking things up at the pharmacy. Breakfasts were amazing, with fresh produce from the garden. It must be one of the best places we’ve ever stayed.

Outside the room there’s a spacious, well-kept garden with plenty of tables and chairs, and a wonderful view of Assos village. I loved sitting on the garden stones at night and looking at the stars. In the morning, breakfast is a delicious Turkish spread served outdoors, and chilled water and sodas are available all day at no charge. I spent three days in Assos and my stay at Nar Konak was stunning. There are five rooms, with Assos stone visible in the walls. My room was clean and tidy, smelled luxurious, and had a lovely handmade little blanket on the bed. I’d buy one if they were for sale! Many thanks to owner Ms. Serpil for her wonderful hospitality and service. She’s kind, generous, friendly, and her beautiful smile makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. I fell in love with this place and will definitely come back!

The host was generous and welcoming, spoke perfect English, and had great tips about the area. We stayed one night on a weekend trip to see Troy and the ruins at Assos, and both the town and hotel turned out to be a wonderful surprise. It’s a historic stone building with a lovely garden and a clean, tastefully decorated room. Wi-Fi was good, and breakfast was fantastic, with homemade jams and olives from the property. There are cafes just steps away, and the port is a five-minute drive with plenty of fish restaurants by the sea. We’ll definitely come back.

Serpil and Rey’s buns on special mornings were a lovely surprise. The breakfasts, made with fresh local ingredients, and the fresh air both made a strong impression. From the views where historic sites meet the Aegean horizon to the rest of our stay, Nar Konak was a highlight of our Assos trip. A memorable stay I’d happily repeat and recommend.

Breakfast here is something special, a generous spread of fresh homemade and local treats that feels both genuine and a little luxurious. We stayed four nights as a family for my 40th birthday and had the whole place to ourselves. It felt like home, except I didn’t have to do a thing. Nar Konak is usually a B&B, but Serpil Hanım, a longtime friend of my mother, went out of her way to make me a birthday dinner. It made the stay feel very personal. Her food is full of care and flavor, and the homemade touches from her and Reyhan brought warmth to everything. Reyhan is also a joy to talk with, and Yeliz was cheerful and attentive throughout. The property is peaceful and charming, with cozy, well-kept rooms. Our little dog was welcomed warmly and could wander around and enjoy all the affection. Assos Nar Konak is a lovely choice for a quiet break, personal hospitality, and really good food.
